Our commitment

Safety in Tandem Paragliding

State-certified pilots · certified equipment · weather protocol

Tandem paragliding is safe when performed by experienced pilots with certified equipment in the right weather. Those are the three pillars our work stands on.

We only fly when we can fly safely. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we reschedule – free of charge, no discussion. Your safety matters more than our calendar.

State-certified tandem pilots

Our pilots have passed the state tandem paragliding exam and have flown for years in the Airpark Lienzer Dolomiten. Daniel Kofler has been tandem flying since 2006, with over 10,000 tandem flights, and is a Speedflying pioneer.

Every pilot completes regular training and safety refreshers. Flight experience counts – and we have it.

Equipment & maintenance

  • Tandem wings with DHV/LTF certification, max. 3 years old
  • Tandem harnesses with integrated back protector
  • Reserve parachute (packed and inspected annually)
  • Helmets for pilot and passenger (mandatory)
  • GPS, radio and vario on every flight

Weather protocol

Before each flying day we check three weather models, the wind stations at Zettersfeld and Hochstein, and thermal conditions. We only fly when all three align.

You receive the final confirmation the day before or on the flight morning. If we can't fly, we reschedule without charge.

Frequently asked questions

Can my child fly with us?

Yes, from age 4 at 20 kg with parental consent. For kids we fly calmly – no spirals, soft launch and gentle landing.

I have a fear of heights. Can I still fly?

Many guests feel that way. In the air the feeling usually disappears. You sit securely in the harness, looking outward – not straight down. If you don't want to fly, we don't fly.

What about thunderstorms?

If there's any sign of a storm approaching, we don't fly. That's our most important rule.

What does cancellation cost?

If you can't fly due to weather – nothing. We reschedule or cancel free of charge. If you personally cancel, we discuss it fairly.

Trust is the foundation

If you have questions – reach out. We answer them all honestly, even the uncomfortable ones.
