Panorama flight

20 to 30 minutes

The classic flight from Zettersfeld. After launch you glide calmly over the Lienz basin, with the whole Dolomite range in front of you.

Ideal for a first tandem flight: gentle, wide and with maximum views. Photos and video of the flight are available as an add-on.

Thermal flight

60 minutes and more

If you want to stay up longer, we use the thermals above the sunny slopes of Zettersfeld. We climb with the warm air and stay at altitude much longer.

The more intense flight, with more height and wider views all the way to the Grossglockner. For everyone who wants the full flying experience.

How your flight at Zettersfeld works

From arrival to landing, plan for around two hours. The flight itself is the calmest part of it.

    Cable car up

    We meet at the valley station of the Lienz cable cars and ride up together to the launch site at 2,220 m. The ride itself is already an experience.

    Briefing and equipment

    At the top you get a harness and helmet and a short, clear briefing. Your pilot explains everything you need to know for the launch. All you have to do is take a few steps.

    Launch and flight

    A few steps down the slope, then the wing lifts off. You sit comfortably in the harness and enjoy the view over Lienz, the Dolomites and the Drau valley.

    Landing in the valley

    We land gently at the "Touch Heaven" landing site on the Lienz valley floor. From there we bring you back to the starting point.

Meeting point and getting there

The meeting point is the valley station of the Lienz cable cars (Zettersfeld) at the edge of Lienz. You get the exact time with the booking confirmation, matched to the weather on the day of the flight.

You reach Lienz by train to Lienz station or by car via the Felbertauern road and the Puster valley. There is parking right at the valley station.

The panorama flight lasts around 20 to 30 minutes in the air, the thermal flight an hour and more. With the cable car ride and briefing, plan for about two hours in total.

Do I have to hike up to the launch site?

No. The Lienz cable cars take us comfortably up to Zettersfeld. There is no hike on foot, the cable car ride is included in the schedule.

What happens in bad weather?

Weather comes first. If it doesn't fit on the agreed day, we reschedule without fuss. That's why we only fix the flight one or two days ahead by phone or WhatsApp.
